UGREEN 100W Desktop Charger

I really like the plugs not being right at the wall and the ability to charge a laptop.

I love this charger. Keep in mind you're getting 100 watts split between the 4 ports. This has worked fine for me. I use it for charging a steam deck, Nintendo Switch, MacBook Pro and an iPad. I do occasionally get a slow charging warning on the steam deck when all 4 ports are being used simultaneously but it still charges everything fine. Usually, my devices are charged 1 or 2 at a time so it's been perfect. The brick looks nice and feels heavy in a good way. I have it on top of the desk so it's easy to access and it looks great. If you have a dark desk you'll barely notice the dark gray block. I'd recommend this charger if you're looking for a multiport solution.

This charger is a must-have, especially if you do a lot of traveling. I got this charger because me and my wife and I do a lot of traveling out of town taking care of a elderly family member. They live in an old house built in the late 40’s and their house doesn’t have many electrical ac outlets like most modern-day homes. I must say that this thing has really come in handy. One thing that i will say is that this is a very sturdy charger. The build quality is great. It seems to be pretty tough and durable. It has taken a little bit of a beating rolling around in my backpack. I plan on getting a hard shell case for it to help keep it from getting all scratched up rolling around in my tech bag. It comes with a pretty long and durable power cord designed, especially for this charger. The charge cord is about 6 ft long. The charger has 4 charging ports. One USB-A and 3 USB-C ports. The first 2 USB-C ports are pretty much used for charging laptops and my 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The other 2 ports i use for charging devices like my cellphone and portable Bluetooth speakers and other similar devices. Overall, this is a pretty powerful charger. So far, it has been working great. I plan on getting another one for my home office to help with cable management so that i can get rid of some of my old bulky charging bricks. This is one device that I highly recommend, especially if you do a lot of traveling and have a bunch of electronic devices like me.

I bought this for traveling. I can charge my Mac and iPad and 2 iPhones all at the same time. Works great and doesn’t get hot.

As someone who has FAR TOO MANY power adapters, I have recently been looking for a more "universal" charger that are safe for most of my devices. GaN chargers, such as this one, are becoming more popular due to their increased safety (GOOGLE "gallium nitride" if you're unfamiliar with the term GaN). This adapter is capable of up to 100W power delivery, which is not very common compared to the number of 65W GaN adapters available on the market today. It is also EXTREMELY helpful that this adapter has a USB A output and not just USB C outputs like nearly of the multi-port power adapters that have comparable specs. It seems UGREEN is one of the few brands that understands that USB A cords are still required for A LOT of products! I would highly recommend this adapter if it meets the specs and power requirements you are looking for.

I got this thinking it was a usb port so was a little disappointed when I realized I made a mistake and it was only a charger. However, I still ended up using this thing daily. I brought it to the shop and use it mostly for keeping flashlights charged and I really like it. It charges fast, doesn't get hot and has a modern look. I ended up really liking it.

This charger is not marked as approved by a testing laboratory like UL or Intertek. In the US, electrical devices must be approved for use by an independent testing laboratory. If you use an unapproved device and it causes a fire, insurance can deny your claim. Completely irresponsible for Amazon to sell a device in the US market that is not approved for use in US.

This is a well made and easy to use USB-C hub, with a USB-A port. The hub supports a max output of 100W which is good for any USB-C device, including my MacBook Pro. The only problem here is that it's 100W max for all ports combined. So for example if you have your phone and tablet fast charging from a USB-C port and then plug in your MacBook Pro, it splits the power and the MacBook Pro is going to be charging much slower depending on the exact draw of the other devices. This is expected, but just keep it in mind if you're going to be trying to charge everything at once. Overall great hubs and it's nice to see 3 USB-C ports in one charger!

I always have a problem with not having enough ports to charge my devices or not having enough bricks for my devices so I looked into this charger. It basically checks off many boxes for me. 1) With this 1 charger I can charge 4 devices at once. 2) With this charger I have the ability to use USB-C and USB-A ports for my various devices. 3) Build quality is amazing. Doesn't feel cheap or fragile and the power cable disconnects for easy storage This has the capability of fast charging my phones. I can also charge my Toshiba Tecra-A50K laptop from 10% to 100% in about 1 and a half hours. I like that I can just carry this and 4 cables and I can charge my laptop, headphones, phone and watch at the same time. its just amazing.

It’s so nice having a spare power brick for my MacBook. This has 2 power slots and USB chargers. Has no problem charging a 16” MacBook Pro with M1 and my work MacBook Pro m1 14” at the same time. Great product and it looks really good too!

I was never able to actually see the peak numbers on this, but with the modern day electronic devices doing so much to control their power draw - Apple devices for instance frequently regulate rate of charge at a rate to preserve battery, it is hard to really judge it. Using a USB-C Power Meter measuring Volts and Amps through the port, I can say that the numbers seemed to match pretty well with an Apple Branded power adaptor, so I am well pleased on that front. This held both when charging my iPhone 14 Pro and my MacBook Air with M2. That said, this is not really a portable charger form factor in my mind. The external power cord is good for a permanent setup but is just one more cord to get tangled when traveling, so it will be staying at home for me. At 99.99 - this thing is also not cheap, but with 3 USB C ports - only two actually high charge ports though (I note though I didn’t much exceed the low charge specs in my testing - but I blame the devices I was charging for that) - and a $25 coupon available right now, it’s price is a bit more palatable. The price point though I feel should be closer to $50 for what you are getting here. 3/5 - Does it’s job, nice to have more ports, but $100 or even $75 is a touch pricy - a quick search finds some with even more ports at $50 or under - which is where I would expect pricing to be with a relatively well defined spec and the time USB-C has been out. Anker had a bit more brand clout and offers 4 USB-C at 109.99. The coupon may make it worth it for some who want a slightly more name brand even if not the heaviest hitter

This GaN charger is noticeably cooler than our other chargers when in use. It charges our laptops perfectly well. Fast charges my Samsung as expected. My only issue is that there is no LED indicator when it is plugged in. Don't get me wrong, I am anti-RGB, not everything needs LED's everywhere. However, a small LED indicator to show that it is plugged in would be nice.

This charger does a great job charging my laptop, and providing four charging ports (3 USB-C and 1 USB-B) is a great feature, especially when working on the road. I ran a charging test on my laptop, and with this charger, it went from 76% to a full charge in about a half hour. Very respectable. The unit itself has a nice long power cord, and the sleek black "puck" is easy to pack. It'll definitely go on the road with me.

I have been using UGreen products for a long time, and they have always delivered superior quality and performance. This 100W charger is certainly no exception. Premium build quality. Durable finish and strong sturdy power cord. Reinforced USB ports means they won't go "wonky" after a few months' use. Great thermal performance means it won't get too hot overnight and burn the house down. This can charge just about anything with a USB charging port. It can charge phones, gaming consoles, laptops, Chromebooks. You name it; this charger can charge it. It can deliver up to 100W of charging power, but it can also scale down automatically to charge smaller devices. And, best of all, you can charge up to 4 devices at the same time. This charger is not the cheapest, but it is price competitive compared to chargers for Chromebooks or laptops, and also provides the added bonus of being able to charge almost any USB chargeable device. It very nice to be able to unplug the ac cable. make it easier to pack it up. It also nice to have a ac cable so it doesn't have to just hang on the wall and might fall later.

I am using this device to charge my phone and Android tablet at the same time. The charge time seems to be less when utilizing this device vs the original white USB to Edison power adapters. The device does not get warm, even after several hours of use. The footprint is extremely small, making it easy to use -- even in my cluttered work area. I am extremely satisfied with this device.

I've been acquiring more USB C devices, so it was time to obtain a charger devoted to those devices. A little research and I found that Ugreen seems to be a very established, reputable company. That gave me more confidence to go ahead and take the leap with this. It appears to be made well. It's sturdy. Everything works well. So far it's all I'd hoped it would be. Hope this was helful.

Definitely like this unit, it sits very well on my nightstand and it will charge my 12.9 iPad Pro, my iPhone 14, and my Apple watch all at the same time. It has different voltage output to make sure that you’re not damaging your battery.

This is a very solid unit. It has 4 outputs and has no trouble charging various devices at the same time. The only complaint I have is that there's only one USB-A output and 3 USB-C; so you'll need USB-C cables or adapters to use all of the ports at the same time. I would much prefer a 2 and 2 setup.

This charger has three USB-C ports and one USB A port. It is solid metal. It has four grips on the bottom so that you could place it on surfaces and it will hold on its own, without slipping. Solid wall prong connector too. Very impressed.

This is a great desktop charger that allows you connect 4 devices and not have to have those long cables from the charging “brick” style chargers at the outlet. I have successfully and simultaneously charged my Steam Deck (or MacBook Pro 14) plus my iPad, iPhone, and driven a portable USB monitor (that needs a power-only cable to get full brightness). I even used one of those digital display testers to see the power output and everything seemed OK (although it is hard to make my devices draw the full amount on demand so don’t consider that an exhaustive test). Definitely pay attention to the power output charts based on 1, 2, 3, or 4 devices attached. For example, if you had 4 devices then the first USB C port is required to be used to charge the Steam Deck at full power. Otherwise, you will get a message on the deck that there is not enough power.

So… USB chargers aren’t sexy, but this comes close. First, build quality feels stellar. The unit itself is solid, the USB sockets feel solid, and the power cord feels of high quality. Yes, there’s a power cord, and it’s about 6’ long. Second, it has anti-skid feet on the bottom. This isn’t a wall wart style, but rather something that will sit on your desk, not slide across it and onto the floor, and provide 4 USB sockets for charging and/or powering devices. There are 2 USB-C ports, each capable of 100 watts output, providing you’re only using one socket as the total output is 100 watts. This was confirmed by my Lenovo laptop which requires a minimum of 100 watts; it told me it was happy and nothing blew up. Check. The 3rd USB-C port claims to be capable of 22.5 watts, as does the USB-A port. Again, as long as you’re mindful of the 100 watt total power budget, your devices will be happy. I’ve tried a current iPad, which appears to charge as quickly as with any other charger I’ve tried. My Samsung S22 Ultra says it’s charging at 20 watts which, again, is about the maximum I’ve seen. The only knock I’m going to give it is that, when one device is charging, and you connect a second device to charge, while staying well below that 100 watt budget, the first one renegotiates it’s charging. That didn’t seem to be a problem for my S22 Ultra when I plugged in the iPad, but the iPad wigged out once when I plugged in the S22. It doesn’t happen every time, but it did happen. I haven’t tried plugging in anything with the laptop, since I know it wants the whole 100 watts. It’s a major convenience having a charger that will sit on my desk, rather than hugging the wall, and I’ve had great luck with every Ugreen product I’ve tried.

With three of my laptops now accepting USB PD charging (as well as my last two phones), I've now entered the space where my travel peripherals in my backpack are significantly smaller. I already had a 30W USB-C PD travel charger, but I also had to carry a separate laptop power brick. Now that I have the UGREEN Nexode 100W USB-C PD Charger, that's no longer the case. There's not a lot that separates USB chargers, but the differentiators with the Nexode are the port count, the inclusion of a "regular" USB-A port, and the wall cord. Three USB-C ports is enough for my laptop, phone, and headset - while I use the USB-A for my Fitbit. One thing to note is that I have to plug in ONLY my laptop if I want to use it on full performance (65W is fine for most lighter tasks, in which case I can use 2 or 3 ports). While port adapters are common, the USB-A port means that I don't have to carry an adapter around with me. It also is helpful for the devices that technically HAVE a USB-C port, but don't complete the PD handshake (and therefore don't charge - even at 5V .5A). Some may find the power cord to be a pain, but I really don't think flip-out AC power prongs make sense on a power adapter of this size. The cord also gives flexibility when in the limited confines of a hotel room or AirBnB. The only real problem with the Nexode is the price. With the $15 off coupon that was in effect at the time of this review, the price was $85. That's definitely on the higher end of similarly capable (power capacity, and port count) USB-C chargers. Still, I haven't had ANY issues with USB PD handshake or charge rate, nor have I had the unit get hot enough that I was worried about safety. Conditionally Recommended

Wow, this thing is a winner. It is super heavy and made of aluminum and has an excellent fit and finish. When you hold this you know you’ve bought something substantial. It has really high quality rubber feet on the bottom to prevent scratching and to allow it to stay put on a slick surface. The finish is a deep luster dark gray it just looks absolutely phenomenal . But most importantly are in sports which allow you to charge multiple PD devices at the same time. That’s what differentiates this guy from those little power bricks with two or three ports. You get 100 W of combine charging and that is substantial. It’s work so far and of course it’s new so if there any changes in the course of my ownership I will update the review but normally when you buy something that is made this well, you get many years of excellent service from it. And this is made well indeed.

This item is well made and very heavy duty. Very fast charger does not get hot. I travel alot and had to carry multiple chargers now i only have to cary one. Comes with everything you need has a long cord if needed or you can use the built in plug. Has multiple usb c ports for very fast charging. This item is exactly as discribed and a great value for the price, I would highly recommend this item
